why isnt he sleeping EVER!

ok so as you may know Dominick has NOT slept through the night in about 2 weeks at first we thought it was because of his 2 teeth coming in at the same time, but now im starting to think otherwise. He hasnt been going to bed ontime and has been waking up 3 to 4 times a night. like last night he refused to go to bed until midnight and woke up at 2:30, 4:00 and again at 6:00. now obviously i wont give him nyquil but is it wrong to want to just to get more than 4 hours sleep in one night. I am beginning to not be able to function during the day and having to work full time and this its just not getting any easier. If there is any suggestions (CORINNE!) please help me! Im still a rokkie at this and basically have no clue what to do! Im prying that it is just his teeth but something is telling me that he is like me when i was a baby and had my days and nights mixed up.

he broke his mobile!

Yesterday we put Dominick down for his afternoon nap when we still heard him in his room talking and playing so we peaked through the crack in the door and saw him playing with something but we couldnt figure out what it was and how he got it. So we opened the door just a little bit more and saw that he had gotten a hold of his mobile! So we go on into the room and he immediately had this oh crap! look on his face lol. As he was sitting there (still playing with the mobile) we saw that he had literally broke the mobile in half off of the crib! We couldnt help but laugh it was so funny i mean, we know that he is strong but didnt really think he could break the whole thing in half like that i dont even think i could do that lol. Needless to say the mobile is no longer in his room and now we have to buy batteries for the aquarium so he can fall asleep

I now know how my mom felt

I dont know why but Dominick isn't sleeping through the night again! I'm not sure if its his teeth or he just doesnt feel like sleeping now but last night was horrible! He didnt go to bed until 11:00 which is 2 hours later than his bedtime and I didnt fall asleep until 12:30 because i was waiting for John to get home and Dominick woke up at 2:00 a.m. and decided to stay awake until 4:30! And normally when he wakes up in the middle of the night he will sleep in in the morning but not his morning nope he woke back up at 6:30 and has been up ever since! I feel like a total zombie like how my mom always told me she felt when i was little and has my nights and days mixed up.

gap casting call

so Dominick is now entered in the gap cating call for a new baby gap model! Dom's first golf cart ride

Dom had his first golf cart ride with John today it was so cute! Dom sat on Johns lap while John just drove around for a little bit than we sat him in between us and drove to the pond and fed the ducks. Dominick had no clue what was going on but we could tell that he loved watching the ducks eat the bread that John was throwing for them.

On another note we decided it was time to start him on stage 3 baby food. He is doing really good with eating the little baby snacks that desolve in your mouth but he instead of letting them just desolve he was chewing them and last night we gave him a banana and mashed potatoes and he loved it! He has been waiting for the day that standing or sitting at the bottom of my feet while i eat would finally pay off and he could have some. But he did really well with the turkey rice dinner that had all kinds of pieces of veggies in it and rice. So i guess he will be eating all of our food of of our plates in no time lol.

Friday night my mom, Dominick and I went to the mall to do some winter clothes shopping for Dom and as were shopping we went into baby gap (thank you Aunt Cheryl) and saw that they are looking for a new model. So as were checking out the lady is talking to Dom and hes flirting with her lol and she hands us this paper and say "make the cute little flirt a model" I was so flattered when she said that. I mean of course every parent thinks there child should become a model but when other people say it, it means so much more. So his picture will be on the website one day this week once i get my moms camera to put a recent picture of him on there and as soon as I do I will post the website so everyone can vote for him lol.

our sleepless night

So Dominick has been doing very good with sleeping through the night lately of course he has had a few nights when he woke up but for the most part he has been sleeping through the night. Well last night i felt like it was January again when Dom was first born. I dont know what happened but he woke up 4 times last night screaming bloody murder! The only thing i can think of was tooth number 6 is trying to break through. Which I didnt really think would happen because we didnt even know when his 5th tooth broke through I guess each tooth is different. And like when he was younger and got very cranky we put on his favorite video from Nickelback and he just sat there and watched it over and over again. Now normally it doesnt really bother me when we replay it 17 times for him to watch but at 12, 2, 4, and 5 o'clock in the morning it wasnt so cute lol. And now he is like a new kid laughing, playing, giggling, and making his funny faces and noises its like last night never even happened and I am just ready for bed lol.
